Cottages are one of my favorite subjects to draw.! I learned how to create in a smaller home in the mountains of North Carolina. Cottages have charm and are cozy to live in! "Tybee Island Cottage" is a seaside painting of a cottage located on Tybee Island/ Fort Screven area of the Savannah, Georgia coast. My husband grew up in this coastal area of Georgia, hence I have spent quite a bit of time there also. A commonality among seaside cottages is their insistence on having a porch! Isn't it great that there are still areas of the country where conversation is enjoyed while porch sitting! With a modest investment of a mat and frame, "Tybee Island Cottage" would ad a charming touch to your home!
