While riding on the streets of Rome, Italy, I spotted the blazing color of the tree , and the colorful flag flying outside what may have been a bedroom window. This is the way many Roman city residents have their being. Something makes me think that inside these walls there is celebration, laughter, and good food to be enjoyed! While visiting Lille, France we always drive to the city of Bruges which is a short distance by car from the city of Lille, France. It is a beautiful city with medieval overtones where canals linked the city to the sea. This still life painting done with graphite, pen, and watercolor. "Chateau de Versaille" is one of the cottages built for her , her guests, and her employees. The mixed media still life painting done with graphite, pen, and watercolor. While perusing an outdoor flea market I saw Margaret trying on hats. I was so intrigued by her character that I asked if I could photograph her there! The photographs taken there in the antique market resulted in this figurative watercolor painting of a beautiful countenance! Margaret was gracious and I learned that Margaret is a librarian. Isn't she a beautiful subject for a portrait!!!
